Quick Sports Note

For those of you who have followed the Isiah Thomas reign in NYC, I just have one thing to add to this. When the Knickerbockers recently played the Spurs in SA, at some point and time in the third quarter the Knicks had this lineup on the floor:

Stephon Marbury
Steve Francis
Jalen Rose
Malik Rose
Eddie Curry

That's three cancerous, shoot-first point guards, a undersized power forward, and a center whose heart problem is so bad he can't get insured because of it. And Thomas is directly responsible for every one of them being a Knick. A few minutes later Jamal Crawford came in for Francis. You really can't make this stuff up.

Unfortunately the people around me were Spurs fans but not NBA fanatics so I had no one to giddily tell this story to until afterwards. You can read all the articles you want about how horrendous Isiah Thomas is, but it doesn't really hit you until you see the masterpiece that he's put together in person.

Oh and the Spurs are going to wipe the floor with the Mavs in the Western Conference Semifinals. I'll talk more about this after tomorrow.
