To All My UTSA Readers

The reason you can't pay library fines in cash anymore:

A judge on Monday sentenced a former University of Texas at San Antonio employee to 10 years' probation after she was convicted in March of stealing more than $200,000 in fines and fees from the university's library.

During Gonzalez's trial, a UTSA auditor had testified that $208,736 had been taken in library fines, interlibrary loan fees and lost-book fees during a six-year period Gonzalez was employed at the library.

That comes out to like $33k/year. Funny thing though, she's never taken responsibility for the crime.
