You know when one has to leave town for a short while and you are told by where you are staying that they do have high-speed internet access- wi-fi and land-line- a reasonable man would expect that he'd be able to get online with his laptop. Yeah, not so much.

So for nearly a week, my lifeline to the world was severed. I knew nothing of Texas Thursday, or that Chris Bell officially hopped into the Gov race, or that Foley's will now be Macy's, or whatever else happened in the past few days. On the upside, I got to watch a whole lot of Entourage, which has convinced me that it's worth the extra twelve bucks a month to watch it.

Regular blogging will start back up later on today.
